Taken during FESCO 09′. Festival Of Colours 2009. This event was organized by UTP (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS). The girl in the picture was performing tarian ‘Mak Yong’ during this event. Mak Yong is a traditional form of dance-drama from northern Malaysia, particularly the state of Kelantan.In 2005 UNESCO declared mak yong a “Masterpiece Of The Oral And Intangible Heritage Of Humanity”. About 20 organization has participated in this event. Every institute shows their ability in performing modern and traditional dance.
